— Microsoft alum Wendy Turner-Williams is now chief data officer at Tableau. She joined from Tableau’s parent company Salesforce where she was vice president of information management and strategy. At Microsoft, Turner-Williams worked on information management for the Azure data and cloud teams as well as enterprise data governance. Salesforce acquired Seattle-based Tableau Software in 2019 for $15.7 billion. The data visualization software company is currently led by Mark Nelson, who was appointed CEO in March. Salesforce also acquired Slack, integration software company Mulesoft and data storytelling company Narrative Science.
